Heather Erb and Gregg Dubit are excellent choices for the LPEA board. Dubit is the candidate for District 2. He organized Solar La Plata, which helped more than 100 property owners secure solar panels for their homes. His professional background is another good fit for LPEA. Gregg is well-informed on energy and has financial oversight experience to be an asset on the LPEA board.
Heather Erb, District 4, as the vice president of the LPEA board, has the day-to-day experience as an incumbent to recognize the challenges our local co-op members face. She is proactive in assistance with low-income co-op members and is a problem-solver. Heather has an energy background and practical experience while serving on the LPEA board.
The new candidates are very nice people in our community. However, I voted for Britt Bassett because he has the practical experience needed for the position. Britt has already made a difference in the city of Durango and the county with the policy to help nonprofits receive tax credits for the solar panels on their roofs.
Vote for Britt, Heather and Gregg to make a difference for all of the residents and commercial businesses in La Plata County while being on the LPEA board.
