Ignacio area voters can drop off ballots at their town hall tomorrow from 8 a.m. to noon, Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Bayfield Town Hall and the County Clerk’s Office have more comprehensive voter service and polling centers open today until 5 p.m. The voter service center is open at the La Plata County Fairgrounds from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. All of the centers are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (4:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds) on Monday, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day.
Ballots also may be dropped off at the County Courthouse today until 5 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to noon, Monday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and election day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The county clerk’s office recommends ballots should not be returned by mail at this point. They must be received by 7 p.m. Tuesday. Postmarks will not count.
