Performances are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and the dance group suggests a donation of $100 when booking a performance. The dance program is continuing this year because of generous support from CJ’s Diner, Brennan Oil, previous Mercury Gives and LPEA grants, as well as the donations from community members and supporters. To support the sustainability of this program with student scholarships and costumes, donations may be made to FLC Foundation with Ballet Folkorico in the memo.
As always, new and experienced dancers are invited to join Ballet Folklorico de Durango. Classes are held every Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at El Centro de Muchos Colores Hispano Resource Center at Fort Lewis College.
