The Big Tiny is the story of how Williams built her 84-square-foot house herself and how she discovers that material possessions are not important in life, the news release said.

Williams is the founder of Portland Alternative Dwellings, a tiny-house education, resource and consulting company.

A book signing will follow her presentation.
