C.J. Clayton and Sue Plvan sort through apples for making cider during the 2012 Apple Days festival. It’s harvest time in Southwest Colorado, which means the region’s apple trees are heavy with fruit. The community is invited to celebrate the abundance during the 2014 festival, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Buckley Park, 1200 Main Ave. The event will feature locally pressed juice, local food vendors, kids activities, music by Robby Overfield and more. Visit www.growingpartners.org for more information.
