It is my understanding that these individuals promulgate their wishes upon us via proxy since we lack any viable appreciation of the arts! In this instance, I am told, the commission was operating under the classic use-it-or-lose-it method. The commission truly does seem to have a limitless supply of poor excuses to cover its incredibly obvious error.

I would like to have commissioners look up the true meaning of “cairn.” I personally have had the incredible pleasure of seeing hundreds of cairns proudly adorning the summits of Colorado’s highest majestic peaks. The true feeling of elation and accomplishment that accompanies finding and signing the register located at the base of one of these real cairns is totally the opposite feeling I get when looking distractedly upon the U-shaped monstrosity our illustrious art commission has saddled us with now!
