Shelby Tisdale, director of Center of Southwest Studies will present “Marjorie F. Lambert: Pioneering Southwest Archaeologist.”
There will be a social gathering at 6:30 p.m. preceding the talk.
In a career spanning more than six decades, Lambert left her imprint on Southwest anthropology, archaeology and history. She devoted her life to the study and advancement of our understanding of the presence of humans on the landscape of the American Southwest in the past, as well as to the preservation of the arts and cultures of the living Native American and Hispano people of New Mexico.
