Both miniature “Arc of History” sculptures, like the one festooning the U.S. Highway 550/160 intersection, had been placed in the front yard of Mike Smedley, who has satirized the artwork in his weekly column, Action Line, in The Durango Herald. Smedley, back from vacation Sunday, says he has returned the Arc-lettes to their natural habitat in the island at the continuous-flow intersection.
