I want to apologize. Even though I didn’t cause the accident, I also didn’t take the time to ensure that he was OK, leaving that job to his riding partner. Hurrying home to get those last-minute Sunday jobs done while the sun was still shining is no excuse for my lack of compassion and concern.

Please accept my apology and know that it is not my normal M.O.
