Animas Valley and local middle schools to host mix and mingle

The PTO will sponsor the event with coffee and burritos from Hermosa Grill. Attending the event will be Shane Voss, the head of school at Mountain Middle School; Kelly Rottman, the incoming sixth-grade counselor at Miller; and Kim Osby, the incoming sixth-grade counselor at Escalante, as well as parent representatives.
The goal of the event is to make the transition to middle school as easy and successful as possible for families and students.
