50 years ago: “There’s elation in Durango Ski Corp. today as Ray Duncan, president, and Chet Anderson, manager of the Purgatory ski area, measure between 3 and 4 feet of new snow at Purgatory. Workers are packing the ski runs today.”
25 years ago: The Gaslight Twin, 102 5th St., was showing “Predator 2.” The billing read, “Silent. Invisible. He’s in town with a few days to kill.”
