25 years ago: “It’s six days to smooth cruisin’ the length of Main Avenue. And on the seventh day, construction crews will rest. Burnett Construction Co. this morning opened Main Avenue downtown to traffic, and Castle Rock Construction said it will open Main north of 32nd Street a week from today.”
