Noland Tuesday evening in La Plata County District Court to hear their fate. ‘Were this project of egg-throwing (aside too from the grand larceny project) confined to a mountain mesa or a barn-yard it could perhaps be written off as child’s play, but when the chosen arena is Main Street in a busy city, it takes on a seriousness which the participants could not have calculated without abandoning it.”
25 years ago: “New information uncovered during seven years of research on endangered fish in the San Juan River could stop construction on the Animas-La Plata Project before the reservoir sees a drop of water, U.S. Fish and Wildlife officials said Friday. Project proponents played down the news.”
