Students from Durango School District 9-R’s Big Picture High School will have their 15 minutes of fame next week on the popular children’s network, Nickelodeon.

High school students involved in internships will appear on Nick News, a Nickelodeon news segment geared toward children that reports on topical issues, Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The first episode of Nick News aired April 18, 1992.
