Ribbon cuttings will be held for both projects completed under the program,including a 6.8 kilowatt rooftop solar photovoltaic system on a Bayfield residence built by Habitat for Humanity of La Plata County, as well as a 16.3 kilowatt solar array at Southwest Horizon Ranch.

The first celebration will be held from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Cuellar family residence, 620 Fox Farm Circle in Bayfield.

The second will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at Southwest Horizon Ranch, 44 Twin Pines Lane in Durango.

Both projects offset energy costs for the residents.
