I see that Donald Trump is having issues with the reflecting pool and green algae. After spending some $14 million of our money, it shows what a no-bid contract with a friend costs us. Now it appears the pool will be drained and done over – again with no bid.
I think I have a solution: pipe the Gold King Mine water straight to the pool. That would make Trump happy, and we could get rid of it here.
On the ballroom: Trump demolished the White House East Wing in October, promising donors would pay for a grand new ballroom in its place. Well, he lied. Now he wants taxpayers to foot a bill that has climbed to $352 million. I’d like to know how much the Trump family has contributed. And what about Elon Musk – the richest man on the planet, who used Trump like a prop and makes millions every day? Call your representative. Congress has to authorize the ballroom money, and they should hear from you before they do.
