The monthly BID Coffee & Conversation, hosted by the Durango Business Improvement District, will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Jan. 10 at Durango City Hall, 949 East Second Ave.

All BID constituents, including those on North Main Avenue, are encouraged to attend. In addition to a brief rundown of upcoming activities that may affect businesses in the district, the city’s multi-modal coordinator, Amber Blake, will discuss the features of the newly installed downtown parking meters. Event information is being collected in advance of the meeting. Young professionals to host cocktail party

The Young Professionals of Durango will host a cocktail party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at Four Leaves Winery, 528 Main Ave.

The event is free for members and Young Lawyers Division Durango members and $10 for nonmembers.

Financial presentation to be held at local bank

A Lunch & Learn called “Learn How You Are With Money” will be presented by Allison Andersen of Durango Personal Financial Coaching at noon Jan. 22 at First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.

The presentation will help people talk about money, understand their spending habits and find their money personality. Andersen will help people understand how their spending habits, attitudes and values affect their financial decisions. The cost is $10 for Durango Chamber of Commerce members and $20 for nonmembers.

Durango Rocks Awards to be held Jan. 23

The Durango Rocks Awards Event will take place Jan. 23 at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College.
