Bo Ward and the Ignacio Bobcats have streaked to an undefeated 16-0 start this season and the No. 1 ranking in Class 2A Colorado boys basketball. They’re 6-0 in the San Juan Basin League, too. On Tuesday, they’ll step outside their comfort zone – and the state – with a nonconference game against Monticello at 6:30 p.m. today in Monticello, Utah. The Buckaroos are 13-3 and ranked third in Class 1A Utah. “I think we’re ready for it. It’s going to be a quick game,” IHS head coach Chris Valdez said. “They’re going to press us. We’re going to take care of the ball and open up the floor.”
