Iraqis from the Yazidi community displaced by the terrorist group the Islamic State in northern Iraq are settling in a camp at Derike, Syria. Kurdish authorities at the border believe about 45,000 Yazidis passed the river crossing in the past week, and thousands more are still stranded in the mountains. The crisis has led to a political upheaval in Bagdad.
