Nepalese celebrate Saturday after participating in an attempt to break the record for the largest human national flag in Katmandu, Nepal. One of the organizers, Ashish Chaulagai, said more than 38,000 people were estimated to have formed Nepal’s flag, shaped as two red triangles with a blue border. Nepal is the only country whose flag is not quadrilateral – that is, four sides and four angles. Chaulagai said photographs of the event and a detailed report would be sent to Guinness World Records. The existing record was set in Pakistan by 28,957 people.
