At that point, the Bobcats trailed the Pirates by a narrow 14-8 margin. Ignacio's points came via an 84-yard pass from senior Adison Jones to junior Wyatt Hayes, then a Jones-to-Nick Herrera two-point conversion. But Pagosa's decisive offense in the third and fourth quarters allowed the visitors to depart with a 40-8 victory. Up next, the Bobcats (0-3, 0-0 1A Southern Peaks League) head to 2A Montezuma-Cortez tonight for a 7 p.m. start, where they will attempt to spoil the Panthers' Homecoming.
