Ignacio's Alex Forsythe (6) takes a swing against Dolores' Beth Brown (11) during San Juan Basin League play last Saturday inside Ignacio Middle School Gymnasium. Forsythe (new from Bayfield) made  her varsity debut for IHS at the day's triangular. Nucla also attended. Though now able to run a two-setter offense, IHS fell to the Lady Bears in three (11-25, 18-25, 23-25) and to the Lady Mustangs (10-25, 22-25, 7-25.) The losses left the Bobcats them 1-10 overall and 1-5 in the league. The Volleycats resume SJBL work tomorrow at Ridgway, and follow that with a trip to Dove Creek on Oct. 7.
