Norwood began the match on an incredible 11-0 run, and ultimately secured a 25-7, 25-14, 25-18 sweep in San Juan Basin League play. Ignacio's regular season ended Tuesday night with a 25-15, 25-15, 25-21 road loss at 3A Pagosa Springs, leaving them 2-17 overall entering the Oct. 23 2A-District 3 Tournament pigtail match at Telluride.
