Nevada four-piece band Jelly Bread will give a whole new meaning to the term “holiday funk” with a pre-Thanksgiving show today at Crash Music in the Historic Aztec Theater, located just across the New Mexico border in Aztec. The band plays a frenetic, high-energy funk that weaves in swampy blues, churchy gospel and rollicking Americana for a sound that one writer dubbed “deep-fried funk.” Doors will open at 7:30 p.m., the theater is at 104 N. Main Ave. Tickets are $15; call 505-427-6748 for more information.
