Henry Stoy, 72, said he gave up a career as a concert pianist about 40 years ago to raise a family. He didn’t pick piano playing again until a few years ago, when he began playing at the Durango/La Plata Senior Center. “He really has quiet a following,” said Sheila Casey, director of the center. “All the seniors love him.” Stoy plays old favorites like “Beer Barrel Polka,” Moon River,” and “America the Beautiful” every Thursday afternoon.
