The San Juan Basin Archaeological Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College.

Art historian and columnist Judith Reynolds will present a program on “Lost Cities.” Meetings are open to anyone interested in Southwest culture and history.

Take a hike under the Full Wolf Moon

A Full Moon Snowshoe Hike under the Wolf Moon will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Haviland Lake and Chris Park.

The hike is free for members and $10 for nonmembers. Participants may bring their own snowshoes or rent them for $3. The hike will feature natural history, nocturnal animals, local landforms and moon facts and legends. Hot chocolate will be provided.
