In conjunction with the Durango Arts Center’s ongoing exhibit, “Connected by a Thread,” Durango fiber artist Leesa Zarinelli Gawlik will teach a textile workshop Friday. Gawlik, whose work includes abstract pieces such as this one, “Time Line II,” will guide participants through the process of constructing repeat patterns from a single design. The workshop, “Repeating Pattern Design,” will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Visit www.durangoarts.org for more information.
