Firefighters responded to reports of a blaze at Mild to Wild Rafting and Jeep Trail Tours on Animas View Drive at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

“It was just a burn barrel,” said Capt. Shane Baire of the Durango Fire Protection District. “Apparently they were burning a Christmas tree, and put a little gasoline on it to get it started.”
