There was a higher way to report this news. The businesses that have survived past 20 years in Durango are few. If she is the dishonest person, these stories subliminally imply, wouldn’t there have been more stories about her through the years? In the future, I suggest that the Herald reserve such hype for the tabloids.

Furthermore, I feel Alison, a very respectable, contributing member of Durango, deserves an apology. Thank you, Alison, for feeding our community in such a delicious, healthy, innovative fashion. Please, forgive us and keep it coming.

One more thing, I hope my mistakes (yes, I am not perfect either) will never be blasted on the front-page of my hometown newspaper!
