The report finds that there were 61 reported sexual assaults at the academies in the 2013-14 school year compared to 70 in 2012-13. The report includes the results of an anonymous survey that shows a similar decrease in the number of students who say they have experienced unwanted sexual contact.

The survey says more than 40 percent of students who experienced unwanted sexual contact said they also faced retaliation, either from leadership or other students. The Associated Press obtained the data.
