The Durango High School Class of 1970 is looking for classmates.

Water-line installation to close La Posta
The city of Durango contracted with CRG Construction to install a water main across the Animas River, from the Humane Society to the gun-club range entrance.
As part of the project, the water-line installation will cross La Posta Road (County Road 213). CRG Construction has closed La Posta Road to all traffic just south of the gun-club entrance. The construction is expected to be completed within two weeks. Work is necessary to replace a failing water main crossing the river.

Fort Lewis to color-run Kolors for Keagan
Kolors for Keagan, a color run hosted by Fort Lewis College event management to benefit Keagan Smith, will take place Saturday at FLC.
The start/finish is under the clocktower. Sign-ups will begin at 10 a.m., and the race will start at 10:30 a.m.
Smith was injured in a car accident near Pagosa Springs in October. The goal of the event is to raise money to help pay for an orthotic C-brace, which will assist Smith in regaining mobility.
The cost is $10 for children 12 and younger and $30 for adults. Protective eyeware is not required but suggested.

Durango library seeks survey participants
Durango Public Library is in the process of developing its 2015-2018 strategic plan that will help prioritize allocation of resources in meeting community needs.
