She has the exceptional ability to balance adherence to principle with pragmatic compromise. Her past success, intellectual and emotional intelligence, and sense of “servant leadership” has more than helped her to welcome, and to learn from, the valid ideas of others. Principled leaders may not always tell us all what we exactly want to hear, but we know that they will always stand in relationship with their colleagues and bring to the table an ethical and caring demeanor.
