The first grant was a third-year continuation request for the School Resource Officer program for $48,744. The officer rotates among the Bayfield schools and teaches a police academy class at Bayfield Middle School.

The second grant request was funding to help replace two of the office’s old patrol vehicles. They received $40,000 for two vehicles.
