“He’s been a Hawaiian-shirt wearer for many, many years ... we just knew he’d like that,” said Anita Blanchard of her friend and neighbor, Tom Byrne, who died recently of cancer. Byrne’s friends and family gathered Saturday at The Irish Embassy Pub to remember him.
