“I can’t wait to just fly around,” said Ryder Okumura of Durango as he practices ground work with his new paraglider Monday at Fort Lewis College. Okumura is an experienced sky diver, but he is looking forward to a week of “kite” lessons in Grand Junction and getting his license to fly the contraption.
