The Hozhoni Days Basketball Tournament drew 11 men’s teams and eight women’s teams from as far away as Wyoming, South Dakota and Washington state, said organizer Damon Whitethunder, a senior public health major at Fort Lewis College and member of Wanbli Ota, the Native American organization at FLC that sponsored the event. The tournament will continue through Sunday at the SunUte Community Center in Ignacio.
