More than 300 customers were affected by power outages late Monday and early Tuesday in the Hermosa area north of Durango.
The first outage occurred from 11:33 p.m. to 12:51 a.m. and affected 233 customers, said Indiana Reed, spokeswoman for La Plata Electric Association.
The second outage was from 2:49 to 2:53 a.m. and affected 322 members, Reed said.
A damaged cable was responsible for the outages, she said.
“One or two people called in, so I think most people slept through it,” Reed said.
