The survey is part of an ongoing research project that is examining the bear population in Colorado, and the attitudes of residents toward the animals. This is the third and final survey for the project. The survey will help Colorado Parks and Wildlife understand how residents’ interact with bears and how attitudes about bear management have changed over time.
Residents are asked to fill out the paper survey or to complete the survey online. Instructions and an identification number for the online survey are printed on each of the invitation letters. Only one survey per household needs to be completed. Surveys must be received by May 20.
Anyone with questions about the survey can call Stacy Lischka at (970) 472-4329, or send an e-mail to, [email protected].
