Early May is time for the yearly visit by Bayfield Primary School kindergarten students to Semler Farm between Bayfield and Ignacio. On May 6, little ones learned about where breakfast comes from and were able to ride a tractor-drawn wagon through a field to see the spring calves. They saw fresh eggs in the chicken coop, lambs, steers and pigs.
