Post offices, banks and schools will be closed.Administrative offices will be closed, including City Hall, River City Hall, the Durango Police Department station and substation, Parks and Recreation offices, and Durango-La Plata County Airport offices. The airport will operate normally, according to scheduled arrivals and departures.Durango Transit Center lobby and cashier window, Durango Recycling Center and Greenmount Cemetery will be closed. Durango Transit will provide full transportation service, and commercial and residential trash and recycling pickup will occur as scheduled.Durango Public Library, Sunnyside Branch Library and Fort Lewis Mesa Branch Library will be closed.Durango Gymnastics and Chapman Hill will be closed.Durango Community Recreation Center will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The aquatics area will close at 1:30 p.m.Metered parking will be free on Labor Day.
