Congressional bills are rising again, like zombies, to smear low-income children and deny certain Americans access to nutrition, education, health care and housing.
The Durango Herald reported (Jan. 10) that the journal Health Affairs states that American babies are 76 percent more likely to die in their first year than babies in other rich countries. Those who survive infancy are 57 percent more likely to die before adulthood. Our pro-life community needs to speak up for born life to stop this disaster.
Our present “pro-life” stance of denying women access to health care is killing young women. A 2016 National Institute of Health study reported that while maternal mortality fell worldwide, the rate in 48 states of the USA rose 27 percent.
Time’s up for the political obsession to control women’s bodies and program failure.
