Former Team USA Greco-Roman heavyweight great Rulon Gardner - a gold medalist at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, and bronze winner in 2004 in Athens ­-  receives proper applause, including from CHSAA Commissioner Rhonda Blanford-Green, inside a spot-lit Pepsi Center on Saturday evening. Gardner, a Wyoming native, was visiting the 2018 CHSAA State Championships prior to Saturday night's Parade of Champions, which presents the first-place contenders in each weight in Classes 2A through 5A.
