The film covers the May 1974 death of Ignacio woman Neva Romero. Romero was known as “Miss Ignacio High School,” homecoming queen and a varsity cheerleader before she and two other Chicano activists were killed in a Boulder car bombing. She was attending the University of Colorado at the time. Her murder remains unsolved.
