Maynes, Manuel J. Vega, William Henry Burrows, Clay Y. McCulloch, Joe L. Corralz, Chester E. Steward, Ernest J. McConnell and Henry O. Thomas.
50 years ago: The “inactive La Plata Fire Volunteers” counted up the mailed-in ballots for a tax-supported rural fire protection district and found that there were 278 against the motion versus 184 in support.
