Assistant U.S. Attorney Player comes to Durango after serving as a deputy district attorney in the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office. During that time, Player also served as a special tribal prosecutor for the Ute Tribe on the Uintah-Ouray Reservation, Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Nation, and Ely Band of Shoshone for certain matters.
This experience provides Player with an important background that will help him address issues that arise in the Durango branch office, which prosecutes criminal cases from the Ute Mountain Ute or the Southern Ute tribes.
