Gov. Jared Polis points to climate change as a cause – and he’s right. It is estimated that anthropogenic climate change has nearly doubled forest fire areas between the years of 1984 and 2015. Colorado U.S. Reps. Jason Crow, Diana Degette, Joe Neguse and Ed Perlmutter are taking the lead on climate action through their co-sponsorship and “yes” votes on the Climate Action Now Act that recently passed through the U.S. House. It’s now our senators’ turn to combat the worst impacts of climate change by supporting a similar bill in the Senate.

Senators Michael Bennett and Cory Gardner should take action. Colorado communities have no time to lose. We are counting on you.
