Native Americans have many differing characteristics, however, without exception they honor Veterans and the Elderly. Our President offended and dismissed both with ease in the presence of these great Native American Veteran heroes.
Over 10 tribal nations make up Colorado and its history. Additionally, Congress granted Fort Lewis College a Native American Tuition Wavier in 1911. Today, Native Americans make up one-quarter of the student body and represent 150 tribes from throughout the US.
An immediate apology to these Native constituents is paramount.
After all, who are you going to stand with? A) Our history, heritage and constituents, or B) Our dim-witted, ignorant and insulting President?
