The award ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. March 16 at the Henry Strater Theatre, 699 Main Ave. The evening will begin with a silent art auction. Artwork for the auction must be entered by March 14.
The Rising Star Award will be presented to a novice nurse, and the Shining Star Award will be given to an expert nurse.
To qualify for the Rising Star Award, nurses must have a valid Colorado registered nurse license and 12 years of experience or less. To qualify for the Shining Star Award, nurses must have a valid Colorado RN license, 13 years of experience or more and demonstrated leadership skills.
Nominations require one letter of recommendation from a relevant community member.
