From March 16 to March 18 net proceeds from meals with lionfish at East by Southwest will go to the scuba club. Lionfish have high concentrations of omega-3s – heart healthy fatty acids. Lionfish can also be harmful to native juvenile fish in the ocean, so reducing their numbers can help native populations.
