A presentation and discussion to inform and support Colorado LGBTQ community members will be given from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 10 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
The event will present findings from the 2016 needs assessment, which surveyed 3,600 LGBTQ Colorado residents. It also will address One Colorado’s priorities for the future, including efforts to ensure the LGBTQ community has equal access to health care, reinforce safety in schools for LGBTQ youth and lift barriers for transgender residents.
The statewide tour includes 13 cities, and intends to consider the specific challenges of each community.
